Ino Schaller by Joy To The World Grows in 2009!
JTW's collaboration with the Schaller Family of Germany has produced a line of exquisite paper mache' items and glass ornaments that we feel truly capture the feel of what this century old tradition is all about. The most unique twist to the line is that each candy container comes with a surprise inside- a replica glass ornament. The ornaments were designed first in Poland, and then sent to Germany where the paper mache' version was created by the Schaller Family.
JTW holds the exclusive license with the Schaller Family to create the line of glass ornaments. In 2009, we have introduced 20 new glass ornaments, plus a line of mini ornaments. The Glass ornaments are the most traditional ornaments JTW has offered, and each piece has at least three very Schaller like qualities incorporated into the design. For instance, you will find that we are using millions and millions of tiny glass beads on both the candy containers and the ornaments- a traditional and very popular Schaller technique. Also, the Schaller family hand makes all of the tiny trees and brooms that are used on the glass ornaments in their Coburg, Germany studio.
JTW also worked again this year with the Schaller Family on one new paper mache' mold. Last year we created our exclusive penguin paper mache' candy container. This year, we created a santa mold with his best friend, a labrador retriever. This item comes in all three colorations of labs- yellow, black and chocolate. This item also comes with a very appropriate ornament inside- a Schaller inspired dog bone ornament.
Many of the 2009 glass ornaments are already in stock, and the new candy containers will begin shipping in March. Pre orders are strongly suggested for the candy containers.

JTW Offers A Treasure Hunt in 2009!
JTW was the first and only ornament company to offer holiday ornaments with gemstones. In 2009, JTW is offering one of the most unique ornaments on the market...and with a huge twist! "Santa's Treasures" is a limited edition of just 204 pieces. This very cool santa sports a vintage treasure map on his coat, and is holding a tiny replica treasure chest. In each treasure chest, you will find three gemstones- one fresh water pearl, one 4MM blue topaz, and then one stone that is different in each treasure chest. You may receive a diamond, emerald, sapphire or one of many different gemstones. Later in the year, you will be able to contact JTW to find out what is in your treasure chest. Each piece in this series is individually numbered. All Glitterazzi Gemstone ornaments come beautifully packaged in a special hard cover box with a certificate of authenticity for the gemstones.

Glitterazzi Adds To The Popular Mini Collection
Last year JTW is introduced our new Mini collection. This approach proved so popular that we added 12 new designs to the 2009 collection. You will find several new molds and lots and lots of texture on the new pieces. Each piece in this collection is approximately three inches tall.
The Glitterazzi Mini's will be available through any Glitterazzi dealer and delivery begins in March. The Mini's are a great way to begin collecting Glitterazzi or accent your current collection. Most of the mini's come with JTW's signature double loop which also works great as a place card holder.

Glitterazzi is Super Sized!
JTW has also introduced several new tabletop pieces in 2009. The most popular pieces thus far are the two ribbon candy themed items. We are offering a ribbon candy tree and a ribbon candy striding santa. These new pieces are very impressive in size and detail and stand an average of eight inches tall! The collection offers santas, snowmen and trees. Each piece comes with its own stand making it an instant centerpiece, or easy to use on a hearth or table. The table top pieces bring a whole new concept to our collectors. These pieces are limited in production because of their difficulty, and each is one piece of glass. New glass blowing techniques were developed to make these pieces a reality. The Table Top pieces are so labor intensive that they require several additional days of production to compete each piece. Contact your Glitterazzi dealer for more information on these tabletop pieces.

Thank You For Being A Friend!
Many, Many thanks to Betty White and Morris Animal Foundation for making the holiday cruises with Betty White a huge success. The first night was the champagne cruise which featured lots of fun, food, signing, and a presentation to Betty for her lifetime work dedicated to animals. The evening culminated with a fireworks show, graciously donated by Pyro Shows of La Follette, TN. Many thanks to those who traveled from all over the country to share the evening. The silent auction brought in more than $10,000 for Morris Animal Foundation, and proved to be a battle ground to the end! The second night was more casual , but gave everyone aboard the opportunity to sit down and talk with Betty, have ornaments signed, take pictures and just have a heck of a lot of fun!
We would like to thank the following sponsors who helped make this event so very special:
Blizzards Bones, Frontgate Catalog, Goody?s Family Clothing, Hill?s Pet Nutrition, idoggiebag.com, Jewelry Television, Love?s Touch Mobile Pet Grooming, Lucky Pet, Mars Direct (M & M?s), Morris Animal Foundation, Prestige Cleaners, Pyro Shows, River Dog Bakery, Scenic View Farms, Volunteer Princess Cruises, WNOX, WVLT-TV
Special thanks also goes to the crew and staff of The Volunteer Princess who did an amazing job with the event, and even let Betty drive the boat.
